  1. These are all great, but I think vidangel is really missing out on capitalizing on their technology, and their profits will increase 10x with a small change that allows use to watch certain unfilterable content (like Disney) through the interface. Thanks to your hard work, all the bones are there to deliver an all-in-one app for viewing media, including media you can’t filter (eg. Disney etc).

What I mean is to allow customers to watch such media, made available based on the MPAA rating (G, Pg, etc). Ie. customers could, in their settings, specify which unfilterable media they can watch via Vidangel based on those ratings.

Here’s the huge problem that would solve (and it’s one every parent has): currently most vidangel users still must have Netflix/Amazon/Hulu/etc available in it’s raw form with all it’s offensive advertising and offensive recommendations to children, not to mention objectionable viewing content in order to watch shows vidangel doesn’t filter.

It’s probably the #1 reason concerned parents don’t use vidangel: not enough content, and the kids are still exposed to objectionable content I. order to watch their other favorite (and parent-approved) content.

This also opens the door to easily taking a googletv device and lock it down to use nothing but vidangel, which would be a win for parents, children, and vidangel.

Anyway, there’s no “Feedback” or “User requests ” option anywhere on your website so I thought I’d post that here. I just got done replacing all out fietc sticks with Google TV because I was tires of the objectionable thumbnails and descriptions our kids were subjected to on the firetruck homescreens … googleTV allows me to use a different loader to address that. But for our kids to watch other parent-approved media they still have to open the prime video or Netflix app, which then exposes them to content that even the filters in those apps won’t remove. It’s maddening, but we still need access to those apps.

I’m sure this is much more difficult to implement than it seems from my vantage point, but no doubt it would vastly increase the ways it could be used as a content aggregator, and usefulness for families. I thinking at a minimum that it’s worth pitching to investors to add that capability.
