The new hit series, Fallout takes Prime Video by storm, and it got us thinking about all the other video game adaptations you can find on VidAngel. We included Jumanji in the mix, just as a precautionary tale. There are two things that will ruin a family night: F-bombs in a movie and getting Jumanji’d. You’re not equipped to handle angry rhinos or an angry spouse. Both are very dangerous situations if you’re ill-prepared. So you take care of the essentials for any jungle emergency that might arise, and we will handle all the filters for movie emergencies like F-bombs, nudity, gruesome fight scenes, and blasphemy. Also, bring the popcorn as well.
What you should know about “Fallout”
What it’s about: The story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them.
Based on the video game, Fallout, that debuted on October 10, 1997. It is a post-apocalyptic role-playing vieo game—and later action role-playing games—created by Tim Cain.
Filtering Fun fact: When the original Fallout video games came out, the games had built-in profanity and violence filters.
Starring: Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets, Arcane), Walton Goggins (Invincible), Aaron Clifton Moten (Father Stu), Moisés Arias (Five Feet Apart), Kyle MacLachlan (Twin Peaks), Michael Emerson (Evil), Zelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time), Johnny Pemberton (Superstore)
What VidAngel customers are saying about “Fallout”
“We just watched the series. We didn’t remove the gore – just most of the swearing and all nudity. The nudity essentially skips that part until there is no nudity (there wasn’t must to begin with so no story loss). For swearing, the volume just mutes for the half-second they are swearing.” – Jared
“You can customize your experience to exactly what you don’t want to see. I just watched it both ways, personally I enjoyed the first episode more without seeing a guy get his brains blown out in a close up, but that’s just me.” – Chris
“The main reason why I got VidAngel so my daughter could enjoy this show with us. Now I can’t wait to use it on other movies and shows.” – Jeanette
“We are SO EXCITED that you came out with filters for Fallout so quickly. There was some pretty unnecessary filth in there (language, intense gore, and s*x/nudity), but we were able to skip all that and share the experience with our teenage son. We really enjoy playing the game together and are looking forward to enjoying this show together, too.” – Megan
“I LOVE VidAngel! And would not have watched Fallout with you! And it’s STILL Fallout without the language and nudity!!!” – Bruce
What VidAngel employees are saying about “Fallout”

“Michael watched Fallout and really likd it and he usually doesn’t watch stuff like that. So he highly recommends.” – Belinda (if you know Belinda + Michael, you’d understand this is a BIG DEAL)
“I started watching it and I couldn’t stop watching it.” – Tyler
