We have a bill! (H.R. 6816)

Do you want to watch movies from Disney, Marvel, Fox and Warner Bros. on VidAngel?
Great news!

Congresswoman Mia Love recently introduced a bill (H.R. 6816) that allows you to watch movies from all studios, using your favorite devices while skipping whatever you choose. Ask your representative to co-sponsor H.R. 6816 right now:  http://savefiltering.vidangel.com

“…there is confusion that requires an update to the FMA to ensure that parents and individuals have the ability to control the lawfully purchased content coming into their homes.”

–Congresswoman Mia Love

Thank you for contacting your representative and thank you Congresswoman Mia Love! (and thank you to the entire Utah delegation)
Sincerely,

  1. while its a good sign, im not going to get too excited until the bill is set in stone. Plus there is no link for any specific details.

  2. Hi Neal,
Excited to hear about the new bill proposal. I have a suggestion for you by way of example. There is a ministry I got my church signed up with called “End Abortion Now”. They put together a form letter that anyone can come to the webpage and attach their name to a form letter that goes to all their representatives, governor, etc. If VidAngel got a simple system in place for their supporters it might very well cause that flood of support requests for each states representatives. Just a thought. If you’d like to examine that webpage for reference, here it is. Thanks!

  3. How long do you think it will be before the house judiciary committee decides whether or not to reccomend the bill? I’ve been a fan of Vidangel since 2013 or so, and it’s great to know that Vidangel is closer to getting back to the level of filtering it was at. That bill is an answer to my prayer, as well as many others’ I’m sure. Keep up the good work!

  4. What are you hearing from Mia Love or others regarding the fate of the following Mia’s defeat? Is there someone else who will pick it up and carry on the fight?
