There are two things you can count on when it comes to awards season: weird fashion and snubs. Let’s discuss the snubs, shall we? The Stranger Things cast was nowhere to be seen. Kind of gave us Barb from Season 1 vibes. There are a few theories floating around saying that voters didn’t want to give cast members a nomination for an incomplete season. Since the Emmy deadline was May 31st and the second installment of the fourth season didn’t come out until July 1st, some speculate that the cast could receive nominations for their work next year. So there’s still hope for Sadie Sink, Millie Bobby Brown, and the hairstylist behind that perfectly crafted bowl on Will’s head.
Another one that was impossible to ignore, was the Bridgerton cast. Justice for Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey. You two stared and you stared and you breathed and you stared, for an entire season, and that should have (vis)counted for something.
