Top Ten Movies and TV Shows of the Summer

The school year is nearly here, and we thought doing a summer “best of the best” review of the top ten movies and TV shows would be fitting. But first, check on your millennial friends who lug around suburban-sized tumblers and Polly pocket-sized cross-body bags fit for ants; they’ve been through a lot this summer. We started the summer by suffering through another two-part release of yet another show. The offender this go-around was the third season of Bridgerton. That second part could have been a long-winded email. Then we all had to sit back and watch every millennial’s first love get their hearts broken and betrayed in Dirty Pop: The Boy Band Scam. That one didn’t make the list, but it deserves a mention.

Meanwhile, Tom Cruise is everywhere, all the time. If you’re looking for a solid action movie and can handle Tom Cruise’s face, check out the seemingly 37th sequel of Mission: Impossible, Mission: Impossible—Dead Reckoning Part One, now available through Prime Video. It’s all about a mission that is impossible to complete, and the only man who can make the impossible possible is Tom Cruise himself.

This summer was a smorgasbord of movies and shows. Say hello to the top ten movies and shows of the summer, say “bye bye bye” to any profanity, nudity, and gore, and say hello to movie night with VidAngel.
