Exposure to profanity in movies.

3 Ways to Limit Your Child’s Exposure to Profanity in Movies

1. Screen it beforehand.

Watch the show before your children watch it. Simply make a mental note or a physical one with timestamps of all the inappropriate words. You’re all set! Be sure not to lose sight of that remote though, you’ll need it to fast-forward and pause at the right time.

2. Toss your TV out.

Find a window, throw it out.

3. Use VidAngel.

Select one or all of our custom filters for: profanity, blasphemy, kissing, nudity, sex, gore, violence, substance abuse, innuendos, and even opening/closing credits. Press play.
