<p>You&#8217;re not imagining it; mature-rated content is increasing. </p>

<p>Family movie night used to be simpler. You scrolled, picked something, and pressed play. Now there&#8217;s a whole ritual first. You check the rating. Google whether it&#8217;s okay for kids. You pre-screen the first episode alone, just in case.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s not paranoia. That&#8217;s a rational response to a real shift. TV-MA is now the fastest-growing rating category on television. Back in 2000, TV-MA content comprised about 10.5% of rated programming. Today it accounts for 43.4%. <strong>That&#8217;s four times the mature content in a single generation.</strong> Meanwhile, G and PG options have gotten harder to find. The shows everyone is talking about, the ones your kids hear about at school on Monday, are increasingly the ones with content that rules out a family audience by default.</p>

<p>The good news? You don&#8217;t have to choose between great content and your standards. VidAngel lets you filter exactly what you don&#8217;t want—language, violence, sexual content—so you can watch more of what you love, without the parts you didn&#8217;t sign up for.</p>

<div style="height:40px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1024" height="669" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1-1024x669.png" alt="" class="wp-image-5994" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1-1024x669.png 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1-300x196.png 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1-768x502.png 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1-1536x1004.png 1536w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1-500x327.png 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/tv_content_ratings_share_over_time-1.png 1736w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d8e712e31d534910b05c47401f6e538d" style="color:#00a3e0"><strong>The Workarounds People Already Try (And Why They Fall Short)</strong></h2>

<p>If you&#8217;ve been navigating mature content for any length of time, you&#8217;ve probably tried a few things.</p>

<p><strong>Checking the rating.</strong> It&#8217;s a start, but ratings don&#8217;t tell you much. TV-MA covers everything from a few f-words to graphic violence to explicit sexual content. A rating gives you a category. It doesn&#8217;t give you control.</p>

<p><strong>Using parent review sites.</strong> These resources can be useful. However, they require you to go somewhere else to research each title individually before you watch it. By the time you&#8217;ve read three detailed breakdowns, movie night is half over.</p>

<p><strong>Fast-forwarding through the rough parts.</strong> This one&#8217;s a classic. The problem is that you can&#8217;t fast-forward through what you didn&#8217;t see coming. And even when you do catch something, you&#8217;re the one sitting there with the remote, making a split-second judgment call in front of everyone.</p>

<p><strong>Sticking to only G and PG titles.</strong> This works, but only until your options run out. With mature content quadrupling over the past 25 years, limiting yourself to the cleanest tier means passing on most of what&#8217;s available.</p>

<p>None of these solutions are bad. They&#8217;re just incomplete. They put the burden back on you, every single time.</p>

<div style="height:75px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-019e86f6f4748f0f858a9f8724c93f80" style="color:#00a3e0"><strong>How VidAngel Works</strong></h2>

<p>VidAngel connects to your existing streaming subscriptions and applies your content preferences in real time as you watch. It works with Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, Peacock, Paramount+, and more.</p>

<p>Once you&#8217;re set up, you choose what to filter. You can turn off profanity, sexual content, nudity, or violence individually or in any combination. VidAngel skips or mutes those moments as you watch through the VidAngel app. The story stays intact. You just decide what&#8217;s in it (and what’s not).</p>

<p>There&#8217;s no research required. No pre-screening. No hand on the remote.</p>

<p>You decide what stays. Then you press play.</p>

<div style="height:75px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-ba76dac1dfcbb64f6b4754143d87fb30" style="color:#00a3e0"><strong>What You Can Filter</strong></h2>

<p>VidAngel offers filters across several categories, including:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Language</strong>: includes specific types like f-words, blasphemy, and slurs, filterable individually</li>

<li><strong>Sexual content and nudity: </strong>From suggestive scenes to explicit content</li>

<li><strong>Violence and gore</strong></li>

<li><strong>Other content</strong>: includes drug use, drinking, and other categories depending on the title</li>
</ul>

<p>The number of filter options varies by title. That level of specificity means you&#8217;re not stuck choosing between &#8220;watch everything&#8221; and &#8220;skip the whole show.&#8221;</p>

<p>Four times the TV-MA content in a single generation is a real shift. VidAngel gives you a way to respond to that shift on your own terms, rather than just accepting it or opting out entirely.</p>

<p>You set the filters. You press play.</p>

<p><em>Lesson one: a lot of great movies have a lot of unnecessary F-words.</em></p>

<p>Somewhere in January, the idea of watching 100 new movies in a year sounds completely reasonable. Fun, even. A built-in excuse for date nights, a reason to finally work through the watchlist, a shared project that&#8217;s low-stakes and genuinely enjoyable.</p>

<p>By February you realize 100 movies is actually a significant commitment and you should have done the math first.</p>

<p>But here&#8217;s the thing — the challenge has been worth it. Not just for the movies themselves, but for what it forced us to actually do: be intentional about what we watch. <a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/standards-for-what-you-watch/">Pick things on purpose.</a> Make movie night a real thing instead of a &#8220;what do you want to watch&#8221; &#8220;I don&#8217;t know what do you want to watch&#8221; forty-five minute standoff.</p>

<p>And VidAngel has been a big part of why it works.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Good Movies Come With Baggage</strong></h2>

<p>One of the things you learn quickly when you&#8217;re watching a lot of movies is that a genuinely great film and an uncomfortable viewing experience are not mutually exclusive. Some of the best storytelling out there comes packaged with content that has nothing to do with why the movie is good.</p>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/the-big-short">The Big Short</a></em> is a masterclass in explaining a financial crisis through pure creative chaos. It&#8217;s also apparently required by law to include a certain number of F-words per scene.</p>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/nightcrawler">Nightcrawler</a></em> is a deeply unsettling character study that will make you think for days. It&#8217;s also genuinely graphic in ways that don&#8217;t always serve the story.</p>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/begin-again">Begin Again</a></em> is a warm, music-filled movie that you want to feel good watching. Some of it doesn&#8217;t feel great.</p>

<p>None of these are bad movies. They&#8217;re actually great movies. They just come with parts that we&#8217;d rather not sit through.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Filter It. Watch More. Actually Enjoy It.</strong></h2>

<p>VidAngel works with your existing streaming platforms — Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV+, Peacock, and more — to let you skip the specific content you don&#8217;t want. Profanity, sexual content, nudity, violence — you choose from 100+ customizable filters and set them before you press play.</p>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/crime-101">Crime 101</a></em> — 164 F-words and some genuinely rough violence — becomes a completely watchable thriller. <em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/hamnet">Hamnet</a></em> keeps its emotional gut-punch without the graphic scenes. <em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/the-big-short">The Big Short</a></em> keeps all its brilliance without the language that makes you wince.</p>

<p>Same movies. Better nights.</p>

<p>Over a million people are already using VidAngel. It covers 25,000+ titles. There&#8217;s a free trial so you can see what your watchlist looks like when you&#8217;re actually in control of the experience.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>A Few of Our Favorites So Far</strong></h2>

<p>If you&#8217;re building your own list, here are some worth adding — all the better with a few filters in place:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/hamnet">Hamnet</a></strong> — devastating and beautiful. Filter the graphic scenes around childbirth if you want the emotional story without the intensity.</li>

<li><strong><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/the-big-short">The Big Short</a></strong> — brilliant and funny. Filter the language and suggestive content.</li>

<li><strong><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/begin-again">Begin Again</a></strong> — a genuinely feel-good watch. Filter the F-words and sexual content.</li>

<li><strong><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/nightcrawler">Nightcrawler</a></strong> — unsettling in the best way. Filter the really graphic violence.</li>

<li><strong><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/crime-101">Crime 101</a></strong> — worth it. Filter the 164 F-words. (Yes, we counted.)</li>
</ul>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Isabel Is Doing the Challenge Too</strong></h2>

<p>Content creator <a href="https://www.instagram.com/isabelhallowshawkes/">Isabel Hallows Hawkes</a> and her husband are on the same mission — 100 movies, intentionally watched, and <a href="https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXss6RbjE-g/">VidAngel is how they get through the list</a> without skipping all the good stuff.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>100 Movies. Your Terms. Start Here.</strong></h2>

<p><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/browse">The list isn&#8217;t going to watch itself.</a></p>

<p>How can you watch a clean version of a movie or TV show? You know the feeling. You&#8217;re watching a great movie. The story is engaging. The acting is incredible. Then a scene appears that you didn&#8217;t ask for and didn&#8217;t want.</p>

<p>It doesn&#8217;t have to be that way.</p>

<p>Watching a <strong>clean version</strong> of a movie or show is easier than you think. You don&#8217;t need to research every title before you press play. You don&#8217;t need to hover over the fast-forward button. And you definitely don&#8217;t need to give up on great entertainment just because it comes with content you&#8217;d rather skip.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-4dbdbe95d89edbe6844b431124461cd0" style="color:#00a3e0">What &#8220;Clean Version&#8221; Actually Means</h2>

<p>A clean version isn&#8217;t a dumbed-down version. It&#8217;s not a censored version either. <strong>It&#8217;s simply your version.</strong></p>

<p>Maybe you want to watch a gritty crime drama without the f-bombs. Maybe you love a particular romance series but skip the explicit scenes. Or maybe you&#8217;re watching with kids and want to cut the violence without losing the story.</p>

<p><strong>A clean version means you decide what stays and what goes</strong>. The plot remains intact. The characters remain intact. You just remove the parts that don&#8217;t work for you.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7ebc77f14af696369d44ed310724f45c" style="color:#00a3e0">Why Clean Versions Are Hard to Find</h2>

<p>Streaming platforms don&#8217;t offer filtering options. Netflix, Prime Video, and others give you the content as is. What you see is what you get.</p>

<p>You could research every title before watching. But those guides are written for everyone. Their definition of &#8220;mild&#8221; might be very different from yours.</p>

<p>You could fast-forward through uncomfortable scenes. But that means spoiling what&#8217;s coming. It means awkward pauses in the middle of a movie night. And it means you have to be paying close attention every single second.</p>

<p>None of these solutions actually solve the problem. They just manage it badly.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d85e3bfb57b47518db08ecdc34febdf3" style="color:#00a3e0">A Better Way to Watch</h2>

<p>With VidAngel filtering, you can get a clean version of movies or shows from your existing streaming services. It works with Netflix, Prime Video, Peacock, Paramount+, Apple TV, and more.</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s how it works. You connect VidAngel to your streaming accounts. You set your filter preferences once (and you can always adjust later, if you want). Then VidAngel automatically skips or mutes whatever you&#8217;ve chosen to filter.</p>

<p>You&#8217;re not editing the content. You&#8217;re simply watching the same movie or show with your preferences applied automatically in real time. Think of it like a preprogrammed remote, muting the words you don’t want to hear and skipping the scenes you don’t want to see.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-93f8c66fc74bd102dc0c1f97ffc988b5" style="color:#00a3e0">What You Can Filter</h2>

<p>VidAngel gives you granular control over five main content categories.</p>

<p>Profanity is one of the most commonly filtered categories. You can filter all foul language broadly or get specific. Want to mute f-words and crude jokes but keep mild profanity? You can do that. Want to filter blasphemy specifically? That&#8217;s an option too. Want to only mute 3 of the 24 s-words? Well, sure, you can do that, too.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Intimacy and Nudity are other major categories. You can filter explicit scenes, nudity, or sexual content at whatever level feels right for you and whoever is in the room.</p>

<p>Violence and gore are filterable too. Some people love action movies but skip the most graphic moments. VidAngel lets you do exactly that without losing the tension or excitement of the story.</p>

<p>Other content includes things like drug use, drinking, and smoking. These are filterable as well, giving you a genuinely comprehensive set of options.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-662fb7a44078278109cc1ef163bc382e" style="color:#00a3e0">Filtering Works on the Shows You Already Love</h2>

<p>This isn&#8217;t a separate streaming library of pre-cleaned titles. VidAngel works on the content you&#8217;re already watching on services you already pay for.</p>

<p>That means your favorite drama on Netflix. The thriller you&#8217;ve been meaning to watch on Prime Video. The new series everyone is talking about on Peacock. Filtered to your preferences.</p>

<p>You don&#8217;t have to choose between great content and comfortable viewing. You can have both.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-571a73880be75a9fc1576a5930ff7185" style="color:#00a3e0">Watching With Family Just Got Easier</h2>

<p>One of the biggest benefits of filtered viewing is family movie night. Pre-screening a movie takes time. Fast-forwarding is clumsy and ruins surprises. And some content is simply too difficult to explain to younger kids in the moment.</p>

<p>With VidAngel, you set your filters once. From that point forward, every title you watch through VidAngel applies those preferences automatically. No prep work. No hovering over the remote. Just the story.</p>

<p>You can also adjust your filters title by title. Watching something with the whole family on Friday? Set stricter filters. Watching something solo on Saturday night? Adjust accordingly. The control is always yours.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b077a65375944610a5a1e313847b63af" style="color:#00a3e0">The Content You Love, the Way You Want It</h2>

<p>Great entertainment shouldn&#8217;t come with an asterisk. You shouldn&#8217;t have to tolerate content you don&#8217;t want just to access a story you love.</p>

<p><strong>Watching a clean version of any movie or show isn&#8217;t about avoiding great entertainment</strong>. It&#8217;s about accessing it on your own terms. The plot twists, the performances, the moments that make a great story great—those all stay exactly where they belong.</p>

<p>The parts you never wanted? Those are gone.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s what VidAngel does.&nbsp;</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-72fb9576524a3da4cfa66959a7586bf1" style="color:#00a3e0">What VidAngel Users Are Saying</h2>

<p>&#8220;I have VidAngel and I love it! I finally get to watch <em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/yellowstone/season/1">Yellowstone</a></em> without the filthy talk. If you don&#8217;t mind the language, then watch it unfiltered. We all have the right to choose what we want. Some of us choose the <strong>clean version</strong>. I won&#8217;t judge you for your choices so please don&#8217;t judge me for mine.&#8221; <br>&#8211; Gail</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<blockquote class="wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow"></blockquote>

<p>&#8220;We just downloaded [VidAngel] and watched<a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/top-gun-maverick"> [<em>Top Gun:</em>]<em> Maverick</em></a> with our kids &#8211; wonderful to have a <strong>clean version</strong> of a film! Impressed and we will continue subscribing!!&#8221; <br>&#8211; Kelly</p>

<p>&#8220;We are really enjoying this fascinating storyline [<em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/the-night-agent/season/1">The Night Agent</a></em>] and great actors. Thank you for proving <strong>clean </strong>entertainment is very entertaining!!” <br>&#8211; Priscilla </p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>&#8220;Oh yay! We love <em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/movie/spirited-2c121">Spirited</a></em> so much but there’s some stuff that I’d love to <strong>clean up</strong> in it. Stuff not even necessary to the story that often disrupts the sincere good messages of the movie. Thanks VidAngel.&#8221; <br>&#8211; Jenna</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>&#8220;Every Friday after school I would take the kids to rent a movie. … I wanted them to experience the movies I watched as a kid. But as a kid myself we didn&#8217;t have much money growing up so back then we didn&#8217;t see the movies until they were shown on TV and consequently <strong>cleaned up</strong>. When showing them to my kids I was shocked at the foul language in &#8216;kids&#8217; movies. Thus the search began for filtering. VidAngel truly was an answered prayer.&#8221; <br>&#8211; Bruce</p>

<p><em>You shouldn&#8217;t need to pre-screen everything just to press play with your kids.</em></p>

<p>Family movie night sounds simple in theory. Pick a movie, make some popcorn, pile on the couch. Quality time achieved.</p>

<p>In practice, it involves a <a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/how-to-love-your-movies-and-shows-again/">surprising amount of mental labor.</a></p>

<p>Is this one okay for the seven-year-old? Does the PG-13 rating mean the same thing it meant ten years ago? Did that preview make it look tamer than it actually is? Is there a scene I&#8217;m going to have to explain before we&#8217;ve even finished the snacks?</p>

<p>Nobody talks about how exhausting it is to be the content screener for your entire household. It&#8217;s just one of those invisible parenting jobs that quietly takes up a lot of space.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>The Problem With &#8220;Just Check the Internet&#8221;</strong></h2>

<p>Look — ratings and review sites help. They&#8217;re not nothing. But there&#8217;s a gap between &#8220;knowing content exists in this movie&#8221; and &#8220;being able to do anything about it.&#8221; You can read every review and still end up holding the remote, hoping the next scene isn&#8217;t the one that makes everyone uncomfortable.</p>

<p>What parents actually want is control. Not information about what&#8217;s coming — actual control over what makes it to the screen.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s a different thing. And for a long time, it wasn&#8217;t really available.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>VidAngel Gives You the Remote. For Real.</strong></h2>

<p>VidAngel works with your existing streaming services — Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, Apple TV+, Peacock, and more — to let you filter what you watch before it ever reaches your screen. You set it up once, the filters run automatically, and then you actually get to enjoy the movie instead of managing it.</p>

<p><a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/how-to-watch-a-clean-version-of-a-movie-or-show/">100+ customizable filters</a>: profanity, sexual content, nudity, violence, blasphemy, and more. You decide what stays and what gets skipped, based on who&#8217;s in the room and what works for your family tonight.</p>

<p>Different ages in the house? You can adjust for that. A movie that&#8217;s fine for your teenager but not quite right for your youngest? You can adjust for that too. The filters are yours to set however you need them.</p>

<p>Over a million families are using it. It covers 25,000+ titles. And there&#8217;s a free trial so you can find out what family movie night feels like when you&#8217;re actually in charge of it.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Make It an Event, Not an Ordeal</strong></h2>

<p>Content creator Sarah (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/sarahflipsit/">@sarahflipsit</a>) has built family movie night into something her kids actually look forward to — <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DVgpafGDgJP/">a whole ritual, not just a movie. </a>The DIY setup, the themed snacks, the countdown. <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/DVgpafGDgJP/">VidAngel is the part that makes pressing play feel easy.</a></p>

<p>Because the best family movie nights aren&#8217;t the ones where you white-knuckle through hoping nothing weird happens. They&#8217;re the ones where you&#8217;re actually present — making memories, not managing content.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Set the Filters. Make the Popcorn. Actually Enjoy It.</strong></h2>

<p>Family movie night is supposed to be fun. VidAngel makes sure it stays that way.</p>

<p>Want to know how to skip the sexual content in&nbsp;<em>Bridgerton</em>? You&#8217;re not alone. Here&#8217;s how you can watch&nbsp;<em>Bridgerton</em>&nbsp;without the scenes that might make you scramble for the remote or hide behind your hands.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="384" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season1-1024x384.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-5816" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season1-1024x384.jpg 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season1-300x113.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season1-768x288.jpg 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season1-500x188.jpg 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p><em>Bridgerton</em>&nbsp;is one of the most-watched shows on Netflix. The drama is addictive, the costumes are incredible, and the slow-burn romance keeps you hooked. But the sexual content? Well &#8230; it&#8217;s a lot. That part you can skip entirely with VidAngel.</p>

<p>Part 2 of Season 4 just dropped on Netflix. Even better, it&#8217;s already filtered and ready to watch on VidAngel! So if you&#8217;ve been waiting to jump in, now&#8217;s the time.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/bridgerton" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><img decoding="async" width="400" height="75" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/FilterNowWithVidAngel_Button-1.png" alt="Filter Now with VidAngel" class="wp-image-3509" style="width:300px;height:56px" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/FilterNowWithVidAngel_Button-1.png 400w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/08/FilterNowWithVidAngel_Button-1-300x56.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2f20580fe64b14f386f28106a01bd1db" style="color:#00a3e0">Why Bridgerton Is Worth Watching (Even With the Filters On)</h2>

<p><em>Bridgerton</em>&nbsp;isn&#8217;t just a steamy period drama. In fact, it&#8217;s genuinely good television. The show follows the Bridgerton family across multiple seasons, with <a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/bridgerton-siblings-recap-season-4/">each season centering on a different sibling&#8217;s love story</a>. The writing is sharp. The tension between characters is well-earned. And the setting, Regency-era London reimagined with lush diversity and modern sensibility, is unlike anything else on TV right now.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1-1024x576.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-5658" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1-500x281.jpg 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Bridgerton-Siblings-1.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Each season is built around a slow-burn romance. There&#8217;s misunderstanding, longing, witty banter, and a satisfying payoff. What VidAngel allows you to do is skip the explicit content. The story stays exactly as compelling.</p>

<p>The costumes alone are worth the subscription. Seriously.</p>

<p><strong><em>Need a more in-depth Bridgerton recap? </em></strong><em>Check out: <a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/bridgerton-recap/">Bridgerton Recap: Everything You Need To Know Before Season 4</a></em> <em>and <a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/bridgerton-season-4-part-1-recap-before-part-2/">Bridgerton Season 4, Part 1 Recap</a></em></p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0528dd1be6ef2c2f36440c00bdc5e80d" style="color:#00a3e0">Here&#8217;s the Thing About Season 4, Part 1</h2>

<p>Season 4, Part 1 (the first four episodes) contained 19 instances of sexual content. In fact, several of those appeared within the first five minutes of Episode 1. Not exactly subtle.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="384" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season4.1-1024x384.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-5819" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season4.1-1024x384.jpg 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season4.1-300x113.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season4.1-768x288.jpg 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season4.1-500x188.jpg 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_season4.1.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>And if history is any guide, Part 2 will be more of the same. Every previous season has saved its most explicit moments for the second half. That&#8217;s not a spoiler. That&#8217;s just the pattern.</p>

<p>So rather than white-knuckling it through with a remote, VidAngel filters those moments automatically. You set your preferences once. Then you just relax and watch.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d1843f089f7f516b90d01a58b518cbc6" style="color:#00a3e0">The Most Eventful Episode of Each Season (With Timestamps)</h2>

<p>To give you a sense of what you&#8217;re working with, here&#8217;s a breakdown of the sexual content from the single most&#8230; eventful episode of each of the previous seasons. These are the episodes where filters earn their keep.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Season 1, Episode 6</h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="250" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Bridgerton_Season1.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-4801" style="width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Bridgerton_Season1.jpg 700w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Bridgerton_Season1-300x107.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Bridgerton_Season1-500x179.jpg 500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>

<p>&nbsp;In total, there are 41 instances of sexual content in this single episode. They&#8217;re clustered in two main stretches: a long sequence running from roughly the 5-minute mark through the 14-minute mark, and a second wave around the 43-minute mark through the 50-minute mark.</p>

<p>Here are all 41 timestamps:</p>

<p>Season 2 is generally considered the most romantic of the first three seasons. Even so, Episode 7 is still its most explicit. It contains 15 instances of sexual content, concentrated around two main stretches: one cluster near the 19-minute mark and another around the 50-minute mark.</p>

<p>Season 3 goes back to Season 1 territory in terms of intensity. As a result, Episode 5 is the heaviest episode of the season, with 35 instances of sexual content. The bulk of the content falls between the 4-minute and 21-minute marks, with a second cluster around the 27-minute mark.</p>

<li>0:21:27</li>

<li>0:27:13</li>

<li>0:28:10</li>
</ul>

<p>Phew. That&#8217;s exhausting to scroll through, let alone navigate in real time.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-35c442c7bbeb924f3e86b1cfbfc8c758" style="color:#00a3e0">What VidAngel Actually Does</h2>

<p>VidAngel doesn&#8217;t change the show. Instead, it adds a filtering layer on top of your existing streaming service. It doesn&#8217;t affect your Netflix subscription either. You simply watch&nbsp;<em>Bridgerton</em>&nbsp;through VidAngel, and the filters automatically skip or mute the content you&#8217;ve selected.</p>

<p>You&#8217;re in control of exactly what gets filtered. For example, if you only want to skip the sexual content, you filter only that (or you can choose to leave it in). If you also would like to reduce the language, you can do that too. The drama, the storyline, the costumes (so many costumes), the tension, the romance? All of it stays.</p>

<p>In addition, VidAngel works with Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV, Peacock, Paramount+, and other major streaming platforms. You keep your existing subscriptions. VidAngel works with them.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-53fe807e8f518a7e30b6ea0411f250db" style="color:#00a3e0">How to Watch Filtered Bridgerton on VidAngel</h2>

<ol class="wp-block-list">
<li><strong>Sign up for VidAngel</strong> at <a href="https://www.vidangel.com">vidangel.com</a>.</li>

<li><strong>Connect your Netflix account</strong> through the VidAngel mobile app or website.</li>

<li><strong>Search for </strong><em><strong>Bridgerton</strong> </em>and select the season and episode you want.</li>

<li><strong>Set your filters</strong>. Choose sexual content, nudity, language, or any combination.</li>

<li><strong>Watch.</strong> The filters work automatically from that point forward.</li>
</ol>

<p>That&#8217;s it. No remote gymnastics. No fast-forwarding. No hiding behind hands. And no second-guessing whether the next scene is safe to watch when the teenager wanders into the room.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-93f07606e09d40748fef889345f529c8" style="color:#00a3e0">Is Bridgerton Worth Watching with Filters?</h2>

<p>Genuinely, yes! <a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/watch-bridgerton-comfortably/"><em>Bridgerton</em> has a lot going for it beyond the explicit content</a>. The performances are strong. The costumes and production design are stunning. The storylines are engaging.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="384" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_queen-1024x384.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-5822" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_queen-1024x384.jpg 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_queen-300x113.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_queen-768x288.jpg 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_queen-500x188.jpg 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/Bridgerton_queen.jpg 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The point isn&#8217;t to avoid great storytelling. It&#8217;s to watch it on your own terms.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>Season 4, Part 2 is available now. Moreover, all previous seasons are already filtered on VidAngel. Sign up, connect Netflix, and pick up wherever you left off, or start from the beginning if you haven&#8217;t yet.</p>

<p>The drama is worth it. The filters make it effortless.</p>

<p><strong>Stop settling for shows that are &#8220;almost&#8221; right. Here&#8217;s how to turn &#8220;not for me&#8221; into &#8220;must-see&#8221; viewing.</strong></p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-9417c24c01579b3019dd567bb02b84bc" style="color:#00a3e0">The Frustrating Pattern Every Streaming Fan Knows</h2>

<p>You know the feeling. Someone recommends a show. The reviews are glowing. The story sounds incredible.</p>

<p>You start watching&#8230;and then <em>that scene</em> happens.</p>

<p>Maybe it&#8217;s an explicit scene that catches you off guard. Perhaps it&#8217;s language that doesn&#8217;t match the vibe you were promised. It could be it&#8217;s just more than you signed up for.</p>

<p>So you bail. Another &#8220;not for me&#8221; added to the list.</p>

<div style="height:75px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">When Great Stories Come With Problematic Content</h3>

<p>Here&#8217;s what&#8217;s frustrating: too often, great shows come with parts you don&#8217;t want.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Bridgerton</em></strong></h4>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/bridgerton/season/1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="250" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Bridgerton_Blog_Image.png" alt="" class="wp-image-3536" style="width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Bridgerton_Blog_Image.png 700w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Bridgerton_Blog_Image-300x107.png 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/Bridgerton_Blog_Image-500x179.png 500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/bridgerton/season/1">Bridgerton</a></em> has captured millions of viewers with its Regency-era romance, stunning costumes, and intricate family drama. The series delivers sharp wit, compelling characters, and production values that rival feature films.</p>

<p>But the explicit intimate scenes scattered throughout each season create an awkward barrier for many viewers. They want the period drama without the steamier content.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>The Night Manager</em></strong></h4>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/the-night-manager/season/1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="384" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/The-Night-Manager-1024x384.png" alt="" class="wp-image-5607" style="width:840px" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/The-Night-Manager-1024x384.png 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/The-Night-Manager-300x113.png 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/The-Night-Manager-768x288.png 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/The-Night-Manager-500x188.png 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/The-Night-Manager.png 1200w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/the-night-manager/season/1">The Night Manager</a></em> delivers edge-of-your-seat espionage with Tom Hiddleston and Hugh Laurie. This cat-and-mouse thriller adapted from John le Carré&#8217;s novel features stunning international locations and morally complex characters.</p>

<p>But explicit sexual content and graphic violence create barriers for viewers. They want the spy thriller tension without the mature content.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Landman</em></strong></h4>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/landman/season/1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="250" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Landman_BlogBanner.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-5095" style="width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Landman_BlogBanner.jpg 700w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Landman_BlogBanner-300x107.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Landman_BlogBanner-500x179.jpg 500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/landman/season/1">Landman</a></em> showcases the high-stakes world of West Texas oil rigs through Taylor Sheridan&#8217;s signature storytelling. Billy Bob Thornton&#8217;s commanding performance anchors this series. It captures the dangers, economics, and personal dramas of the modern oil industry with authenticity.</p>

<p>But constant profanity and sexual content make it difficult to recommend. This happens despite its compelling exploration of American industry.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Fallout</em></strong></h4>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/fallout/season/1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-1024x576.webp" alt="" class="wp-image-5570" style="object-fit:cover;width:840px;height:300px" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-1024x576.webp 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-300x169.webp 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-768x432.webp 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-1536x864.webp 1536w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-2048x1152.webp 2048w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/blog_fallout-500x281.webp 500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/fallout/season/1">Fallout</a></em> brings the beloved video game franchise to life with stunning post-apocalyptic visuals. The series features dark humor that perfectly captures the game&#8217;s spirit. It balances action, mystery, and satire while expanding the Fallout universe in exciting ways.</p>

<p>But extreme violence, strong language, and sexual content create obstacles. Viewers want the retro-futuristic adventure without the graphic content.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Outlander</strong></h4>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/outlander/season/1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="700" height="250" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Outlander_BlogBanner.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-4172" style="width:840px;height:auto" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Outlander_BlogBanner.jpg 700w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Outlander_BlogBanner-300x107.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Outlander_BlogBanner-500x179.jpg 500w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/outlander/season/1">Outlander</a></em> offers one of television&#8217;s most epic love stories. It blends time travel, Scottish history, and sweeping romance across centuries. The chemistry between Claire and Jamie anchors a narrative rich with political intrigue and historical detail.</p>

<p>But graphic sexual content and intense violence appear frequently throughout the series. This forces viewers to choose between missing out on brilliant storytelling or sitting through scenes that cross their comfort level.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading"><strong><em>Stranger Things</em></strong></h4>

<div class="wp-block-image">
<figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/stranger-things/season/1"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="576" src="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4-1024x576.jpg" alt="Stranger Things" class="wp-image-3202" style="object-fit:cover;width:840px;height:300px" srcset="https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4-300x169.jpg 300w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4-768x432.jpg 768w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4-500x281.jpg 500w, https://blog.vidangel.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/05/Untitled-design-4.jpg 1920w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></figure>
</div>

<p><em><a href="https://www.vidangel.com/show/stranger-things/season/1">Stranger Things</a></em> has become a cultural phenomenon with its nostalgic 80s setting, lovable characters, and thrilling supernatural mysteries. The Duffer Brothers created a masterclass in suspense that appeals to multiple generations.</p>

<p>But the series includes strong language, horror elements, and mature themes. These intensify with each season, making family viewing complicated despite its broad appeal.</p>

<div style="height:100px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-e713ef658e44b72de286a54f2eda03de" style="color:#00a3e0">How VidAngel’s Filters Change Everything</h2>

<p>Here&#8217;s what changes with filtering: you&#8217;re not stuck choosing between great storytelling and your comfort level.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">Filter Popular Shows Your Way</h3>

<p><strong>VidAngel lets you customize what you watch:</strong></p>

<p><em>Bridgerton</em>&#8216;s Regency romance and stunning costumes stay intact. Filter the explicit scenes.</p>

<p>We&#8217;ve all been there.</p>

<p>You&#8217;re watching something good (really good!) and then you sense it. That moment when the show is about to go somewhere you&#8217;d rather it didn&#8217;t.</p>

<p>Your hand shoots to the remote. Decision time.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">OPTION 1: The Fast-Forward Gamble</h3>

<p>Fast-forward&#8230; but how far? Five seconds? Ten? Twenty?</p>

<p>Next, you rewind a bit&#8230; nope, went too far back. Try again.</p>

<p>And now? Congratulations! You&#8217;ve just seen the scene you were trying to avoid—twice—plus you got a lovely slideshow of awkward thumbnails while you were frantically scrambling with the remote.</p>

<p>Cool. Great system.</p>

<p><strong>In reality, the fast-forward method works about as well as fixing a leak with duct tape and optimism.</strong> Sure, technically it&#8217;s a solution. But should you?</p>

<p>Plus, let&#8217;s be honest. There&#8217;s always that one person in the room who says, &#8220;Wait, what happened? Go back.&#8221; Now you&#8217;re explaining a scene you specifically didn&#8217;t want anyone to see.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">OPTION 2: The Homework Method</h3>

<p>Or maybe you&#8217;re the proactive type. Perhaps you&#8217;re a planner.</p>

<p>Before you even pressed play, you found a timestamp guide online. Some generous soul, who missed their calling as a forensic accountant, painstakingly documented every questionable scene: skip at 4:32, 18:47, 22:13, 31:08, 27:54 (wait, how did we go backward?), 34:12&#8230;</p>

<p>Now you&#8217;ve got your phone out with the blog pulled up. Fingers ready on the remote. Meanwhile, your eyes dart between the screen and the clock like you&#8217;re defusing a bomb.</p>

<p>Congrats! You&#8217;re now the Human Skip Button of your household, watching the timer more than the actual show.</p>

<p>However, one bathroom break or one moment where you actually get invested in the story, and oops! You&#8217;ve missed your skip window. Better luck next time.</p>

<p><strong>And honestly? Who wants to turn movie night into a part-time job?</strong> That&#8217;s our job. Instead, your job is enjoying the show.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading">YOUR BEST OPTION: Filter Content Automatically with VidAngel</h3>

<p>Here&#8217;s the thing: you&#8217;re not trying to avoid great entertainment. Similarly, you&#8217;re not trying to overcorrect and skip half the movie.</p>

<p>Instead, you just want to watch good content without the stuff that doesn&#8217;t work for you. And you want it to be easy.</p>

<p><strong>That&#8217;s where VidAngel comes in.</strong></p>

<p>VidAngel filters streaming content automatically and precisely. First, you choose what kind of content to skip once—profanity, violence, sexual content, whatever matters to you. Then it happens accurately, reliably, and automatically. Every single time.</p>

<p>No remote gymnastics, no thumbnail roulette, no watching the clock.</p>

<p><strong>That&#8217;s control without overcorrecting.</strong></p>

<p>As a result, you get to enjoy the story, the acting, and the cinematography (all the reasons you wanted to watch in the first place!) without compromising on what matters to you or your family.<br></p>

<div class="wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex">
<div class="wp-block-button is-style-fill"><a class="wp-block-button__link has-background has-text-align-center wp-element-button" href="https://www.vidangel.com/" style="background-color:#00a3e0"><strong>TAKE CONTROL NOW WITH VIDANGEL</strong></a></div>
</div>

<div style="height:75px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<p>VidAngel gives families the power to filter unwanted content from popular streaming services. Whether you want to skip profanity in your favorite thriller or remove violent scenes from a family movie night, VidAngel makes it simple.</p>

<p>Furthermore, you don&#8217;t need timestamp guides or to fumble with the remote. Simply set your preferences once and watch with confidence.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-440c8d049e94f2f4941aca31dfdddd6c" style="color:#00a3e0">Ready to take control of your streaming experience?</h2>

<p>For <strong>$9.99 a month</strong>, VidAngel helps you take control of your entertainment experience. You bring your streaming subscriptions—we bring the filters. Together, that’s how you watch what you love, your way.</p>

<p>With VidAngel, you can skip or mute whatever you don’t want to see or hear. It’s entertainment on your terms, not the algorithm’s.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">How Does VidAngel Work?</h2>

<p>VidAngel connects with your existing streaming subscriptions and adds a customizable layer of control. You decide what gets muted or skipped—profanity, violence, nudity, blasphemy, you name it—and VidAngel automatically filters it out while you watch.</p>

<p>To use VidAngel, you’ll need:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Active subscriptions to supported streaming services (like Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, or Peacock).</li>

<li>To link those services to your VidAngel account.</li>

<li>To watch through the VidAngel app or website—because that’s where the filters actually apply.</li>
</ul>

<p>Think of it as a <strong>smart remote</strong> programmed for your values.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Streaming Services Compatible with VidAngel</h2>

<p>VidAngel works with select titles from these platforms:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Netflix</li>

<li>Apple TV+</li>

<li>Peacock</li>

<li>Paramount+</li>

<li>Amazon Prime Video (rent/buy and subscription titles)</li>

<li>Select Amazon Add-on Channels: Paramount+, STARZ, BritBox, PBS Masterpiece, MGM+, and AMC+</li>
</ul>

<p>A few quick notes:<br>&#8211; Not every show or movie on these services is filterable. Our team manually builds filters for major releases and adds new ones every week.<br>&#8211; Due to studio agreements, content from Disney, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros., and 20th Century Fox cannot currently be filtered.</p>

<p><strong>Bonus:</strong> Every VidAngel subscription also includes a small catalog of licensed, family-friendly content—like <em>The Wingfeather Saga</em>, <em>Freelancers</em>, <em>Homestead</em>, <em>Tuttle Twins</em>, <em>Testament</em>, and select <em>Dry Bar Comedy</em> specials.</p>

<p><img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/26a0.png" alt="⚠" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /> <em>Heads-up:</em> Ad-based streaming plans won’t work with VidAngel on Roku or while casting.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity"/>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Streaming Devices Compatible with VidAngel</h2>

<p>You can watch with VidAngel on:</p>

<ul class="wp-block-list">
<li>Roku (excluding ad-based plans)</li>

<li>Fire TV / Firestick</li>

<li>Apple TV (tvOS)</li>

<li>Android TV (Google Chromecast TV, TiVo, Nvidia Shield, etc.)</li>

<li>iPhones and iPads (iOS)</li>

<li>Android phones and tablets</li>

<li>Computer via <a href="https://www.vidangel.com">vidangel.com</a></li>
</ul>

<p>You can also cast using AirPlay or Chromecast from the VidAngel mobile app.</p>

<p>Directed by Joseph Kosinski (<em><a href="https://blog.vidangel.com/top-gun-maverick-profanity-timestamp-guide/">Top Gun: Maverick</a></em>) and backed by producer Lewis Hamilton, the film blends Hollywood star power with real-world Formula 1 intensity. Pitt stars as Sonny Hayes, a once-brilliant driver making a comeback alongside rookie sensation Joshua Pearce (Damson Idris).</p>

<p>With immersive race sequences filmed during actual Grand Prix weekends, a Hans Zimmer score that roars like an engine at full throttle, and cameos from real F1 drivers, this is as close as you will get to trackside adrenaline without strapping into a cockpit yourself.</p>
